Juan Cainzos, DVM, PhD, is the Global Product Line Manager for GENEadvance at ABS Global, a Genus company. With more than 20 years of experience in the dairy and beef cattle industries, his career has spanned veterinary practice, dairy consultancy, academia, animal health, and livestock genetics. Before joining ABS in 2021, Juan held several technical and commercial leadership roles at Elanco Animal Health, including Global Technical Marketer for Cattle. He holds a PhD in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Santiago de Compostela, where his research focused on in vitro bovine embryo production. Juan has authored or co-authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications and contributed to over 70 conference presentations and technical articles. His current work focuses on helping dairy producers improve profitability through genomic testing, reproductive technologies, and data-driven genetic management strategies.
