Dr. Bisma Jan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Technology, School of Engineering, IILM University, Greater Noida. She holds a PhD and M.Tech in Food Technology from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, and a B.Tech in Food Technology from the Islamic University of Science and Technology, Kashmir. Her research focuses on functional foods, nutraceuticals, food product development, phytochemistry, food safety and quality, and analytical characterization of bioactive compounds. She has expertise in advanced analytical techniques including LC-MS, HPTLC, UV-based analysis, metabolomics, and in-vitro biological assays. Her research also encompasses the development and evaluation of functional food products and the application of modern statistical tools in food and nutritional research.
